Barbra Streisand says she ‘can’t live in this country’ if this happens

Barbra Streisand, a famous member of the Hollywood elite, recently went too far when she defended Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis online. She said that Willis was the target of a plot by conservatives to use her private life to hurt her public one.

In a piece for X, the singer and actress said that Willis only did wrong by wanting a personal relationship with Nathan Wade, the assistant prosecutor she hired to look into Trump and 18 other people they have charged with racketeering related to the results of the 2020 Georgia election.

“The Republicans’ desire to fire Fani Willis is incredibly silly.” Why? Are you sure that a woman can’t have both a personal and a professional life? It’s something men always do! “How stupid is this?” Streisand said on Monday.

“Trump and his supporters are going after Willis, the DA who is charging him with trying to go against what the voters in Georgia chose.” She is close with one of the prosecutors behind closed doors. This has nothing to do with the case itself or Trump’s blatant attempt to get the Secretary of State to “find” more votes for him and lie to Congress about who the electors are. “It’s just another distraction by Trump,” she said.
