But it was the topless photo that sparked the most discussion. In the image, Lola lounged topless, strategically covering her chest with a towel but leaving her tanned back exposed. Her caption, “Is this demure?” — a playful reference to a phrase that recently went viral online — stirred mixed reactions from social media users.

Some followers took issue with the topless photo, believing it was not in line with the word “demure.”

One user responded directly to Lola’s caption, saying: “Considering that demure means modesty, then no, this is very much not modest nor demure.”

Another added: “Maybe I don’t get it. I say why because you have a cute girl with her song. Why that pic? Maybe I’m too old-fashioned — sorry.”

Others saw Lola’s post as attention-seeking, with one person commenting: “Ahhh the life of the privileged… .”

Another accused her of being “really hard up for publicity.”
