Springsteen reportedly views Canada as a more inclusive society, while De Niro has expressed concerns about democracy and misinformation in the U.S. However, some media sources question the authenticity of these claims.
While promoting his Netflix series Zero Day, De Niro praised Capitol Police officers for defending the U.S. Capitol during the January 6 attack, naming Michael Fanone, Aquilino Gonell, Harry Dunn, and Daniel Hodges as his American heroes.
