This ’80s Teen Star Left Hollywood

This actress, best known for playing Natalie Green on The Facts of Life (1979–1988), never planned on a career in acting. She was discovered as a

teenager in 1979 when TV producers visited her school, and, after impressing Charlotte Rae, was cast in the sitcom. Despite initially wanting to become a doctor to help people, Cohn’s acting career blossomed. Over the years, she remained active in entertainment, even voicing Velma in What’s New, Scooby-Doo? for over a decade.
