In Response To Allegations Of A Shooting, Corewell Health Beaumont

An active shooter initiated fire in a Michigan hospital, resulting in the shooting of an emergency room patient.

The patient, who remains unidentified, sustained an injury at Corewell Health in Beaumont Troy, which is located 24 miles north of Detroit, shortly after 7 a.m. ET on Thursday morning.

It is uncertain whether they were targeted or attacked at random, and additional information regarding their condition has not been disclosed.
