She was the second daughter of mother Pauline and father Jim \u2013 her mother worked as a homemaker, her father as an oil field contractor.<\/p>\n<p>Farrah Fawcett \u2013 early life<br \/>\nFarrah was actually named Ferrah \u2013 an Arabic word for joy \u2013 at birth.
