Country music legend Reba McEntire just dropped some exciting news\u2014and fans are absolutely here for it.<\/p>\n

The 69-year-old superstar will return to host the ACM Awards for an incredible 17th time, extending her record as the most frequent host in the show\u2019s history. Past hosts include icons like Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks, but Reba remains unmatched in her reign.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am tickled to pieces to get to host the ACM Awards for the 17th time!\u201d McEntire said in a statement. \u201cWhat an honor to be part of the past, present, and now the future of the Academy of Country Music with Amazon Prime Video. I can\u2019t wait to get to Texas and see everybody May 16th!\u201d<\/p>\n

ACM CEO Damon Whiteside praised Reba\u2019s legendary status, saying, \u201cNo one has a deeper and richer history with the Academy than Reba\u2026 With exciting new music coming, extensive television presence, and a worldwide fanbase, Reba\u2019s back and better than ever!\u201d<\/p>\n

Reba took to Instagram to reveal that she\u2019ll be debuting brand-new music during the show. \u201cOh hey @ACMawards, have you missed me?\u201d she teased. \u201cI can\u2019t wait to host this year\u2019s Academy of Country Music Awards\u2026 I\u2019ll also be performing brand-new music during the show!\u201d<\/p>\n
