Karmelo Anthony Family SPOKESMAN Has Had ENOUGH, Sends Stern Message To \u201cRACIST PU\u2013IES\u201d<\/h1>\n

\nA local activist and family rep for Karmelo Anthony \u2014 Dominique Alexander \u2014 has had enough.<\/p>\n

In the aftermath of Anthony\u2019s release from jail, he was moved to an undisclosed location for his safety after his family received threats and was harassed.<\/p>\n

The 17-year-old was arrested on April 2 after a fatal stabbing at a Frisco ISD track meet.<\/p>\n

Since being arrested and released, there has been a ton of misinformation spread throughout social media that has subjected the family to even more attacks.<\/p>\n

Kala Hayes, Karmelo Anthony\u2019s mother, finally broke her silence as she revealed: \u201cMy 13-year-old daughter is afraid to sleep in her own bedroom because she\u2019s fearful of what might happen to her.\u201d<\/p>\n

That press conference happened on April 17, during which Metcalf\u2019s father was escorted out by police.<\/p>\n

Dominique Alexander of the Next Generation Action Network, who is serving as a spokesman for the Anthony family, called Metcalf\u2019s father \u201cdisrespectful\u201d while adding that his appearance was \u201ca disrespect to the dignity of his son.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, Alexander has doubled down on his comments.<\/p>\n

This press conference wasn\u2019t organized by him,\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Alexander said.\u00a0\u201cThis press conference wasn\u2019t about him. This press conference didn\u2019t invite him. Yet at the end of the day, it\u2019s a criminal case, y\u2019all.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s literally inappropriate, not only ethically, but it\u2019s inappropriate for that family to interact, and we don\u2019t know what we don\u2019t know,\u201d Alexander said. \u201cAnd at the end of the day, I have to ensure that the safety of all of the parties are intact. Just someone showing up at our press conference, we can\u2019t just have that. We don\u2019t know what it is.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The family rep for Karmelo Anthony also went after racists who are posting disparaging things about him and his past.<\/p>\n
