Long before Donald Trump was elected president, a British interviewer related an incident that she now finds amusing.<\/p>\n

Ruby Wax is a 70-year-old comedian who has been a regular host of various shows on the BBC for a long time. Although she isn\u2019t well-known outside of the UK, she was ejected from the plane of Trump, the billionaire real estate developer at the time, in the 1990s after she made fun of him for declaring his desire to become president.<\/p>\n

During an appearance on Kate Garraway\u2019s ITV chat show, Wax recounted the tale.<\/p>\n

The BBC fixture claimed that the interviewee would share \u201creally personal things\u201d with her during the mandatory pre-interview meals, which she would then avoid discussing in the formal interview.<\/p>\n

However, Wax claims that\u2019s not exactly how things turned out with Trump.<\/p>\n

Wax clarified, \u201cYou know, Donald, when a man treats you like an idiot, you kind of become an idiot.\u201d \u201cBecause he simply has sex with women, he knows them.\u201d However, he was unable to identify me. He was truly ferocious and vicious. \u201cYou\u2019re smiling and angry,\u201d he said. I was backed into a corner, so he got me.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought it was a joke when he said, \u2018I want to be the next president of the United States,\u2019\u201d she added. \u201cI started laughing because I thought, \u2018This guy has a great sense of humor.\u2019\u201d \u201cThat\u2019s it, I want her off the flight,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Therefore, we only reached 33,000 feet before immediately descending once more. She continued, \u201cIt\u2019s not a good show\u201d (watch the video below).<\/p>\n

On \u201cGood Morning Britain,\u201d Wax related the story to Garraway and Charlotte Hawkins, claiming that Trump \u201cwouldn\u2019t speak\u201d after she made fun of his aspirations to become president.<\/p>\n

According to the U.K. Mirror, she said, \u201cMy crew and I landed and we were stuck in Arkansas with nowhere to go.\u201d \u201cWe discovered him judging a Miss Nebraska pageant in Nebraska.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite days of indignation from Democrats, establishment Republicans, and mainstream media outlets over the president\u2019s ambitious trade changes, President Trump\u2019s approval rating has risen to almost all-time highs.<\/p>\n

Even after sweeping tariffs were placed on dozens of trading partners on April 2, Trump\u2019s support rating rose, according to a new poll by J.L. Partners and the Daily Mail that polled 1,000 registered voters between March 31 and April 3.<\/p>\n

According to the study, Trump\u2019s approval rating rose to 53 percent, up four points from the poll conducted last week, which had it at 49 percent. Given the extreme pressure and stock market crash that took place on Thursday and Friday, the Daily Mail described the result as \u201csurprising.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since March 7, Trump\u2019s popularity among voters between the ages of 18 and 29 has increased by an incredible 13 points.<\/p>\n

According to the study, Trump is leveraging the enormous support he received from the demographic in the November presidential election, when voters between the ages of 18 and 29 shifted 10 points in his favor after strongly endorsing Joe Biden in 2020.<\/p>\n

The study found that among registered Democrats and independents, the president\u2019s support rating rose by six percentage points. Since last week\u2019s poll, the president\u2019s popularity among black voters has risen by 17 points.<\/p>\n

Trump has received a very positive report card from American employers and job board leaders nearly a year into his presidency, stating that they think the economy \u201ccan win now,\u201d despite the fact that it hasn\u2019t \u201cstarted to win yet.\u201d<\/p>\n

TaChelle Lawson, founder and author of FIG Strategy & Consulting and a Freedom Economy Index (FEI) respondent, told Fox News Digital, \u201cI would give President Trump, right now, a pretty solid B+.\u201d<\/p>\n

He arrived with a very specific plan that centered on economics. He\u2019s cutting the fat and prioritizing business. Business operators and small business owners recognize and value that. He is obviously focused on American business, in my opinion,\u201d she continued. \u201cBut I do believe that the messaging needs some improvement.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lawson participated in the most recent quarterly survey conducted by RedBalloon and PublicSquare, which included over 50,000 small business owners. According to Fox Business, the poll found that over two-thirds of participants now anticipate either \u201cslow\u201d or \u201crobust\u201d growth for the entire year, which is a radical change from the earlier pessimistic prediction.<\/p>\n

We are currently witnessing a very ailing economy that requires very potent medication. Additionally, RedBalloon CEO Andrew Crapuchettes told Fox that if it receives that medication, \u201cwe all feel like we have a very strong economy that will win and will actually be a huge blessing to the entire world.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause we feel like we can have a disproportionately positive impact on the entire planet when the U.S. economy is strong, and when small businesses in the U.S. economy are strong,\u201d he added. \u201cA lot of excellent work is being done, but more work is required if the economy is to truly improve.\u201d<\/p>\n

These small businesses now feel as though the 100th day of Trump\u2019s presidency is approaching.
