Karmelo Anthony, the 17-year-old charged with fatally stabbing athlete Austin Metcalf at a Frisco, Texas track meet on April 2, has changed legal representation ahead of his upcoming court appearance. The incident occurred when Metcalf reportedly asked Anthony to move from a tent reserved for Frisco Memorial students. Witnesses say the situation escalated quickly,<\/p>\n

ending with Anthony allegedly stabbing Metcalf in the chest. Metcalf, a rising football star, died in his twin brother\u2019s arms.Anthony was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. He remains,in Collin County Jail on a $1 million bond. His family recently retained Dallas attorney Mike Howard, replacing previous counsel Billy Clark and Kim T. Cole. Public reaction has been mixed\u2014many mourn Metcalf\u2019s tragic death,<\/p>\n
